okay, so my mom calls, and tells me that on GOOD Morning America or of those morning news channels. They are talking about nationwide making it against the law to spank your children. Well, I think that spanking is okay not beating and there is a difference. According to Washington state Child Protection Service you have the right to spank your child or children as long as you do not break the skin or leave a lasting mark ( welts would be included in that) or a bruise or hit them with an object. I personally believe that it is okay. I don't think it should be used all the time and should just be on the bottom. I think people should know themselves well enough to know if they can handle spanking their children or not. I definitely think it is each parents' decision how they discipline their children as long as they are not hurting them physically,emotionally, mentally. You can also hurt them by putting them in time out some people over do the time out time. I think the consequence should fit for what the situation is. I spank my younger child a lot more than i do my six year old and i only do that when i feel nothing else has worked and sometimes just out of frustration to get a quick fix and then i talk to her when things have calmed down. Everbody has their own opinion and i think that is the way it should be. Goverment is taking over and we are letting them how much farther will we let them in pretty soon they will be telling you how to parent, what to wear, eat, what job you have to have. What do you think?????? I say a big thumbs down to that idea

okay my bad i guess it was just the state of califoria that was trying to pass this law. still whatever the state it is still not right in my opinion

Let me start by saying this, do not ever never ever and i mean this ever sign a tax return with someone you are living with or even when you are married. you do not have to sign the tax return even if you are married working or not. I was very very stupid and signed my ex-husbands 2003 tax return ( we were still married at the time) I had no idea he was going to decide to not pay them. You would believe that he made the money I was a stay at home mom and so the IRS says i am responsible. If I had worked they wouldn't have held me responsible at least that is what one agent said. Like the IRs really knows what is going on inside it own agency The IRS is like a circus only not a fun one. Well, that was for 2003 it is now 2007 and he now owes $8,445 and some change. The penalty fee is now $1,000 something dollars a year. This is what i do not understand I have contacted them given them information about him being in Las Vegas and I told them that he was in hiding and gave them everything i knew why then do the not go after him. It is very upsetting that he is hiding and i have the kids ( because he is abusive and a druggy and a criminal and yet they are coming after me) His social security number is on the paperwork not mine and yet they come after me. What makes me sick is that when we were married we had the money he just kept spending it all he just could not save money if his life depending on it.
Another thing that sucks about it is the IRS was supposed to be temporary so why are they still around. Ya know if we could get all of Americans to stand up and not pay their what would they do then. Those bastards
